The Tamil Nadu Handloom Development Corporation Limited is a State Public Sector Undertaking, commenced its operation in the
year 1964, with the objective of serving the weavers outside the
co-operative fold by extending working capital assistance at reasonable rate of interest.
The Tamil Nadu Handloom Development Corporation has also appointed as Nodal Agency / Implementing Agency in respect of following schemes / activities to generate revenue for its expenses.
